IPE Deck Wood
We use IPE (e-pay) exclusively for exterior decks. It is an exotic wood which is strong and naturally resistant to abrasion, rot and weather. IPE is also denser and harder than most other wood species typically used in decking, and has the highest Class A fire rating - the same as concrete and steel!
In addition, it is a beautiful wood, similar to both Teak and Mahogany
