Our decking boards are 1" thick by 5 1/8" wide and come in two standard lengths: 2' and 4'. Each deck board is pre-drilled on our CNC machine so a precise fit is guaranteed. Our innovative rubber connectors are inserted into the pre-drilled holes, and the deck then just snaps together in place. It couldn't be any easier!
Since the decking is not directly attached to the underlying structure, the sub-floor must be solid and rigid, such as concrete patios, pavers, black top (asphalt), flat field stone walkways, etc.
IPE is so dense and durable, it really needs NO SEALING and NO TOP COATING. It will weather to a natural silver-gray in time. Applying a finish to change the color is up to you, but we recommend you seek the advice of a professional to determine how best to meet your finishing needs for your geographic area.
StarkeDeck© should not be used on soft or unstable ground such as grass, sand, gravel and topsoil.
